Mixology

Edson Arzate

Currently Brand Ambassador of Tequila 1921 for Latin America. He is the founding director of one of the most important mixology schools in Mexico since 2007 “Texturas School of Mixology and Barismo”, training more than 3000 bartenders throughout the Mexican Republic. He has been responsible for the development of the concept of bars and signature cocktails for hotels such as Grand Palladium Mayan Riviera, AMResorts, Blue Bay Grand, and Grupo Playa Resorts among others.

Currently he directs the department of bars of the Panama hotel complex Jack in Playa del Carmen, he is part of the cocktail ambassadors for tequila 1921 in the Riviera Maya and as an instructor mixologist in Texturas School of Mixology & Barismo.  Throughout his career of more than 10 years in the food and beverages industry has worked for renowned places such as the restaurant carlos & charlies, hotel gran porto among others. And has a lengthy experience in mixology competitions such as expohotel 2008, 2009 and 2014, being the last the mixology interinter hoteles 2018 contest where he placed first.

Alejandro Perez

Sheila Zenteno

She is currently the head bartender of the Fairmont Mayakoba hotel, responsible for the development of some of the emblematic cocktails of the hotel.  Part of the staff of Mixologists Instructors of Textures School of Mixology & Barismo. Her career is combined with several national and international competitions, to mention a few;  house of angostura, tio pepe and London one, winner of the two editions of the 1921 tequila legends mixology contest, the latter two taking her to be part of the 1921 tequila cocktail ambassadors platform in the Mayan Riviera.

Currently he directs the crafted concept in the Westin Regina hotel, he is part of the staff of mixologists instructors of Texturas School of Mixology & Barismo.  With more than 10 years of experience he has participated in mixology competitions as legends of Tequila 1921 in two editions, the alchemist among others. He has worked for large hotel chains such as the JW Marriot hotel, Mayakoba, also developing drink menus for hotels such as Me de los Cabos.  He is also the creator of eliucollections, an author cocktails concept. Eliu is part of the 1921 tequila cocktail ambassadors in the Mayan Riviera.

Abdyas Ramos

He is currently the head bartender of the hotel Desire in Riviera Maya, where he is responsible for developing the cocktail concept for his guests, with little more than 3 years of experience in the field, being passionate about elegance and hospitality to participate in mixology contests at a national level among those that stand out legends of tequila1921.  In its two editions being a finalist, it is also part of the cocktail ambassadors platform for tequila 1921 in the Mayan Riviera.

He is currently the mixologist of the Unique Hotel  8027 in the Mayan Riviera in charge of developing the whole concept of mixology.  He is part of the staff of Mixologists instructors of Textures School of Mixology & Barismo, in love with his profession and hospitality, focused on the use of natural and organic ingredients, local flavors and artisanal processes,  added to his career to participate in meetings of mixology at the national level to mention some legends of tequila 1921. In its two editions being among the first three places, this led him to be part also of the cocktail ambassador platform of tequila 1921 in the Mayan Riviera.

Brandon Orozco

He is currently the mixologist of the hotel Ocean Riviera Paradise, throughout his career he has been a mixologist, flairtender in different consumer centers, his constant training has led him to participate in mixology competitions such as tequila legends of 1921. In his two editions being among the finalists, he is also part of the flairbtenders staff of Texturas Escuela De Mixologia & Barismo as a cocktail ambassador for tequila 1921 in the Mayan Riviera.
